The invention of the standpipe with integrated sieve was born out of years of experience in catering kitchens.
Daily experience in catering kitchens showed that clogging of the drain due to leftover food led to delays in the workflow and thus to dissatisfied customers and considerable stress in everyday life.
A blockage can also lead to considerable costs in the home if you need a tradesman, who is also difficult to find.
In addition, our sieve system prevents parts of polystyrene from packaging, such as transport boxes, from ending up in the sewage system and thus preventing microplastics from entering our water system. In this way, we are making a sustainable contribution to keeping our ecosystem stable.
To conserve important resources, our product is made of 304 stainless steel and acid and heat resistant rubber to ensure it remains durable.
The materials used are 100% recyclable.
